Sphaeropteris truncata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Cyatheaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kepulauan Solomon hingga Pasifik barat daya. Nama ilmiah Sphaeropteris truncata diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama William Dunlop Brackenridge pada tahun 1970.
