Spigelia speciosa merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Loganiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Meksiko. Nama ilmiah Spigelia speciosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Sigismund Kunth pada tahun 1819.
