Spiraea cantoniensis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah China tenggara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan reeves' meadowsweet. Nama ilmiah Spiraea cantoniensis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama João de Loureiro pada tahun 1790.
