Spiranthes cernua merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Orchidaceae (suku anggrek-anggrekan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kanada bagian timur hingga Amerika Serikat bagian tengah dan timur. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan nodding lady's tresses. Nama ilmiah Spiranthes cernua pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Louis Claude Marie Richard pada tahun 1817.
