Spiranthes praecox merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Orchidaceae (suku anggrek-anggrekan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari New Jersey hingga Texas timur. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan greenvein lady's tresses. Nama ilmiah Spiranthes praecox pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Thomas Walter pada tahun 1890.
