Sporobolus aculeatus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Eropa selatan-tengah hingga Korea Utara dan Sahara. Nama ilmiah Sporobolus aculeatus mulai dipublikasikan pada tahun 2014.
