Sporobolus anglicus merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Inggris. Nama ilmiah Sporobolus anglicus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Charles Edward Hubbard pada tahun 2014.
