Sporobolus buckleyi adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Texas selatan hingga Belize. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan buckley's dropseed. Nama ilmiah Sporobolus buckleyi diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama George Vasey pada tahun 1893.
