Sporobolus foliosus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari California hingga Meksiko (Baja California). Nama ilmiah Sporobolus foliosus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Bernhard von Trinius pada tahun 2014.
