Stachys ajugoides adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kanada barat hingga Meksiko barat laut. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan bugle hedgenettle. Nama ilmiah Stachys ajugoides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George Bentham pada tahun 1831.
