Stachys albens merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah California. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan whitestem hedgenettle. Nama ilmiah Stachys albens diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Asa Gray pada tahun 1868.
