Stachys balansae merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Türkiye timur hingga Iran utara. Nama ilmiah Stachys balansae diperkenalkan oleh Pierre Edmond Boissier pada tahun 1879.
