Stachys cuneata merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape. Nama ilmiah Stachys cuneata diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Joseph Banks pada tahun 1834.
