Stachys hians merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kolombia. Nama ilmiah Stachys hians diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama John Isaac Briquet pada tahun 1898.
