Stachys ionica merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Yunani barat (Ionioi Nisoi). Nama ilmiah Stachys ionica pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Eugen von Halácsy pada tahun 1908.
