Stachys menthoides merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Türkiye bagian tenggara. Nama ilmiah Stachys menthoides diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Georg Theodor Kotschy pada tahun 1879.
