Stachys sanchezii merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Meksiko tengah. Nama ilmiah Stachys sanchezii diperkenalkan oleh Jerzy Rzedowski pada tahun 1984.
