Stachys simplex adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Afrika Selatan. Nama ilmiah Stachys simplex diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Rudolf Schlechter pada tahun 1897.
