Stachys spectabilis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Türkiye selatan dan timur hingga Iran dan Israel. Nama ilmiah Stachys spectabilis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Jacques Denys Choisy pada tahun 1823.
