Stachys spinosa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman) yang tumbuh dalam bentuk perdu kecil atau semak. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Kepulauan Aegea selatan. Nama ilmiah Stachys spinosa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carolus Linnaeus pada tahun 1753.
