Stachys turneri merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Meksiko (Guanajuato). Nama ilmiah Stachys turneri diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Jerzy Rzedowski pada tahun 1995.
