Stachytarpheta friedrichsthalii merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu kecil dari famili Verbenaceae yang memiliki siklus hidup semusim (annual). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Amerika tengah. Nama ilmiah Stachytarpheta friedrichsthalii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama August von Hayek pada tahun 1907.
