Stapelia gigantea merupakan tumbuhan sukulen berbentuk perdu kecil dari famili Apocynaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Afrika Selatan dan kawasan tropis Afrika bagian selatan. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan zulu giant. Nama ilmiah Stapelia gigantea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Nicholas Edward Brown pada tahun 1877.
