Steganotaenia commiphoroides merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Apiaceae (suku adas-adasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Ethiopia tenggara hingga Somalia. Nama ilmiah Steganotaenia commiphoroides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Mats Thulin pada tahun 1991.
