Stegolepis grandis merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Rapateaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Venezuela selatan. Nama ilmiah Stegolepis grandis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Bassett Maguire pada tahun 1965.
