Stelis simplex merupakan tumbuhan epifit dari famili Orchidaceae (suku anggrek-anggrekan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kosta Rika. Nama ilmiah Stelis simplex pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Oakes Ames pada tahun 2001.
