Stemodia foliosa merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Plantaginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Venezuela timur, Brazil timur. Nama ilmiah Stemodia foliosa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama George Bentham pada tahun 1840.
