Stemodia lanata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Plantaginaceae yang tumbuh dalam bentuk perdu kecil atau semak. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Texas hingga Meksiko (Tamaulipas, Veracruz). Nama ilmiah Stemodia lanata diperkenalkan oleh Hipólito Ruiz López pada tahun 1846.
