Sterigmapetalum guianense subsp. ichunense merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Rhizophoraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kolombia tenggara hingga Venezuela selatan dan Brazil bagian utara. Nama ilmiah Sterigmapetalum guianense subsp. ichunense pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Julian Alfred Steyermark pada tahun 1983.
