Sticherus velatus merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Gleicheniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Bolivia. Nama ilmiah Sticherus velatus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Gustav Kunze pada tahun 1947.
