Stigmaphyllon ellipticum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berkayu dari famili Malpighiaceae. Spesies ini memiliki pola hidup memanjat dengan akar tetap di tanah (liana). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko hingga Venezuela barat laut dan Peru. Nama ilmiah Stigmaphyllon ellipticum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Sigismund Kunth pada tahun 1840.
