Stipagrostis lanata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Mesir hingga Iraq. Nama ilmiah Stipagrostis lanata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Peter Forsskål pada tahun 1963.
