Strephonema sericeum merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Combretaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah. Nama ilmiah Strephonema sericeum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George Bentham pada tahun 1867.
