Streptanthus bernardinus merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Brassicaceae (suku sawi-sawian) yang tumbuh dalam bentuk perdu kecil atau semak. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari California selatan hingga Meksiko (Baja California Norte). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan laguna mountain jewelflower. Nama ilmiah Streptanthus bernardinus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Edward Lee Greene pada tahun 1917.
