Streptanthus tortuosus merupakan tumbuhan dwimusim atau menahun dari famili Brassicaceae (suku sawi-sawian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim dingin (subalpin atau subarktik) di wilayah Amerika Serikat bagian barat. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan shieldplant. Nama ilmiah Streptanthus tortuosus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Albert Kellogg pada tahun 1863.
