Streptocarpus haygarthii adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Gesneriaceae yang memiliki siklus reproduktif hanya sekali seumur hidupnya (monokarpip) dan memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh di permukaan bebatuan (litofit). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Provinsi Cape timur hingga KwaZulu-Natal. Nama ilmiah Streptocarpus haygarthii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Nicholas Edward Brown pada tahun 1904.
