Streptocarpus hirsutissimus merupakan tumbuhan semisukulen dari famili Gesneriaceae yang hidup menahun. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Tanzania (Pegunungan Uluguru, Pegunungan Nguru). Nama ilmiah Streptocarpus hirsutissimus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Eileen Adelaide Bruce pada tahun 1933.
