Streptocarpus phaeotrichus merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Gesneriaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh menempel pada permukaan bebatuan (litofit). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Ethiopia barat daya dan selatan. Nama ilmiah Streptocarpus phaeotrichus diperkenalkan oleh Emilio Chiovenda pada tahun 1960.
