Striga gesnerioides adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan hemiparasit berumur semusim atau menahun dari famili Orobanchaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Afrika, Jazirah Arab, anak benua India. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan cowpea witchweed. Nama ilmiah Striga gesnerioides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Ludwig von Willdenow pada tahun 1875.
