Striga macrantha merupakan tumbuhan hemiparasit dari famili Orobanchaceae yang tumbuh menahun. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di kawasan tropis Afrika. Nama ilmiah Striga macrantha diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama George Bentham pada tahun 1846.
