Striga sulphurea merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Orobanchaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah India. Nama ilmiah Striga sulphurea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Nicol Alexander Dalzell pada tahun 1861.
