Strobilanthes cycla merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah China (Yunnan). Nama ilmiah Strobilanthes cycla pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Charles Baron Clarke pada tahun 1918.
