Strobilanthes hookeri merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Sri Lanka. Nama ilmiah Strobilanthes hookeri pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Christian Gottfried Daniel Nees von Esenbeck pada tahun 1837.
