Stromanthe angustifolia merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Marantaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Bolivia. Nama ilmiah Stromanthe angustifolia diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Henry Hurd Rusby pada tahun 1895.
