Strophioblachia fimbricalyx merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari China (Yunnan selatan, Guangxi barat daya), Indo-China, hingga kawasan Malesia bagian tengah. Nama ilmiah Strophioblachia fimbricalyx diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Jacob Gijsbert Boerlage pada tahun 1900.
