Strychnos aenea merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Loganiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah India barat daya, Assam. Nama ilmiah Strychnos aenea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Arthur William Hill pada tahun 1917.
