Strychnos afzelii adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Loganiaceae yang memiliki pola tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Afrika bagian barat. Nama ilmiah Strychnos afzelii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ernest Friedrich Gilg pada tahun 1893.
