Strychnos mitis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Loganiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Sierra Leone, Ethiopia hingga Afrika Selatan, Komoro, Madagaskar. Nama ilmiah Strychnos mitis diperkenalkan oleh Spencer Le Marchant Moore pada tahun 1911.
