Styrax aureus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Styracaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Brazil (Minas Gerais). Nama ilmiah Styrax aureus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Friedrich Philipp von Martius pada tahun 1823.
