Styrax benzoin var. hiliferum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Styracaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Semenanjung Malaysia hingga Sumatra. Nama ilmiah Styrax benzoin var. hiliferum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Cornelis Gijsbert Gerrit Jan van Steenis pada tahun 1932.
